Beginning Quilting with the St. Augustine Piecemakers

Learn how to machine piece, use a rotary cutter, and create a quilt top! Students should bring their own sewing machine or be very comfortable with using a sewing machine. Students who do not own a machine may request a machine provided (additional fee of $5) by Bee's Quilt Shop. Fabric kits to complete the quilt top, as well as batting and backing, will be provided. Students should bring: 1. Sewing machine 2. 1/4" sewing foot 2. Light gray spool of thread and full bobbin 3. Scissors 4. Seam ripper 5. Measuring tape 6. Notebook and pen/pencil for taking notes The class is presented by the St. Augustine Piecemakers and the St. Johns Cultural Council with support from Bee's Quilt Shop.
