Welcome dearest, Embodied is a workshop that was created to hold space for you as you learn to hold space for yourself. The work of Natacha (workshop curator and studio owner) focuses on healing inner parts of our being while balancing and regulating the nervous system. Natacha believes that the root of 80% of illnesses are emotional; the pain we've held on to in our lives & the pain that follows us from our ancestors. With so many different types of therapeutic approaches, it can feel overwhelming to decide which way to begin. There are many "quick fixes" from the emotional or physical pain, but do they really allow for sustainable, long-term healing? Healing through somatics is the gateway to reduces discomfort, strain, and stress in the body. It transforms negative emotional experiences, creates a greater sense of Self, builds resilience and offers hope. The intent is to awaken to the wisdom inherent your body and how to access it. In each Embodied workshop of 2023, we will explore new levels of mind-body connection; through exploring tension & discomforts, gestures, and body sensations through a combination of awareness dialogue, movement, and/or self touch. A multitude of therapeutic approaches will be used in our workshops, such as Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, SSR, Somatic Shadow Work, Ancestral Healing, Myo Fascia Release & more. Through connecting and listening to the messages carried in the body, you will be guided to the choices that support you to move with more ease and freedom so you can truly become the fullest version of yourself.
