Description

According to the FBI, 70% of active shooter incidents are over in 5 minutes or less, and the average police response time to an emergency call in the United States is 7 minutes. This data clearly indicates that in most violent assaults that involve a weapon, the attacker can kill and wound multiple victims before the police arrive on scene. If you solely rely on police response to stop an active shooter, you are at risk. You must know what steps to take to safeguard yourself and your family, during an active shooter. History has shown it can happen anytime and anywhere. No one is exempt from a shooter's attack. Even as I write this, there is someone (shooter) preparing to cause as much carnage as possible and be the next news reel. Each wants to make their attack more devastating than the than last incident. They watch the news to gather info on how people react to these attacks; to add to their own planning. DO NOT be an easy target! You must prepare. Our Subject Matter Expert is a former Homeland Security Special Agent with over twenty-five years in law enforcement, tactical teams and combatives. He was a Senior Instructor within the Active Shooter Program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center - home to over 72 law enforcement agencies. Veteran and Martial Artist.
