Greetings on behalf of the New London Connecticut NAACP! On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, we will host our annual Freedom Fund Dinner where the Honorable Congressman Bennie Thompson of Mississippi will be the Keynote. The event will be held at the Port N Starboard, 98 Neptune Ave, NewLondon, CT. Tickets are $75 and may be purchased by June 15, 2023. This year's theme is “Our Collective Voices have Power.” Greater New London County is a proud military community and the home of the United States Coast Guard Academy, the United States Navy, General Dynamics, Pfizer and more. Throughout the years, the New London Branch of the NAACP has partnered collectively in its advocacy of our men and women who serve. Inspired by the late Medgar Evers, Congressman Bennie Thompson has been instrumental in reformingthe United States Military, making it a more diverse, equitable and inclusive branch of government.The members of the New London NAACP reach out to you for your support and participation.
