The Raindrop Foundation San Antonio and Congregation Agudas Achim Synagogue are looking for volunteers to participate in a food distribution project in partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank. This project aims to provide support to individuals and families in the San Antonio community who are facing food insecurity. Food packages prepared by the San Antonio Food Bank will be distributed to those in need who come to the distribution center at Congregation Agudas Achim Synagogue in San Antonio. Volunteers will work together to distribute food packages and assist with the organization and setup of the distribution event. Volunteers will have the opportunity to interact with and serve members of the local community. No previous experience is necessary to participate in this project. However, volunteers should be able to lift and carry boxes of food and be comfortable working in an outdoor setting. Volunteers are expected to arrive on time and commit to the full duration of the project. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the San Antonio community we live in. We need your support! Anyone aged 12 and over who can contribute to the event can volunteer.
