Join us on May 27 from 10am-1pm to help Faith Food Friday's move wood chips, soil, plant annuals, and fix their garden beds at their Learning Garden. Faith Food Friday's runs a free food distribution program out of their Vallejo location. The Learning Garden is an extension of this program, where they hope to connect their community to the Earth and to the process of growing food. They aim to increase food security and access to healthy, organic produce. This project is in partnership with Faith Food Fridays. Safety recommendations: Volunteers are encouraged to wear close toed shoes, sunscreen, hats, and bring water to hydrate during the event.
