As many of you may have heard/seen, we very unexpectedly lost two long-time, incredible and unforgettable members, Hunter Copeland and Mike Grizey, on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Anyone who metal detects knows that this hobby isn’t just about the finds, (though we sure love those pull tabs!), it’s about the comradery, the memories, the good times. Hunter and Mike gave many of us all of those things. They were both loving husbands, proud parents, caring and compassionate friends, and dedicated members of the metal detecting community. We are hosting this fundraising event in support of the Copeland and Grizey families. All proceeds will be split evenly and given directly to the families. We hope not to just help alleviate some of the costs associated with laying their bodies to rest, but to allow their loved ones time to grieve by lessening any financial hardship that the sudden loss of their husbands/fathers and support systems may cause.
