Living Better Life is excited to announce the Better Business Bootcamp, a multi-day event aimed at empowering small businesses and underserved communities through economic and financial education. Sponsored by the NC IDEA ENGAGE Grant, the event will feature a range of speakers including TF Congleton of The Institute NC, Frince Williams of Turning Point Workforce Development Board, and Shaun Glaze of Inclusive Data Solutions, who has helped black and brown businesses win over $30 MILLION DOLLARS in Grants over that last two years, and so many others. The Bootcamp will cover a range of topics, including SBA certifications, access to capital via grants and sponsorships, website development, and preparing organizations for lending. The Bootcamp will be held over three days, starting with a networking event on Day 1 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Attendees will participate in mixer-style activities to connect and engage with other small business owners in the area. Day 2 will be dedicated to hands-on workshops, where participants will have the opportunity to engage with industry experts and gain practical skills to help their businesses grow. Workshops will cover a range of topics, including HUB and WOSB certification, website development, and collaboration and access to capital via grants and sponsorships. Day 3 will feature a keynote speaker and a pitch contest, giving participants the opportunity to showcase their businesses and potentially win prizes to support their growth. Attendees will have access to resources from Thread Capital, the NC SBA, and other small business service providers to help them achieve success. Living Better Life is committed to empowering communities, bridging gaps, and breaking barriers. The Better Business Bootcamp is an opportunity for small business owners in the area to connect with each other, gain valuable knowledge and skills, and take their businesses to the next level.
