The fairies and gnomes of Dubuque have been busy building their whimsical homes among the woodland trails. Tiptoe quietly as to not disturb them when they are crafting their eccentric masterpieces. Please use caution as the magic of the fairies and gnomes is fragile and touching them could cause their magic to disappear. This is a self-guided hike at your own pace throughout the weekend and a great Mother's Day activity! The gnome and fairy houses will be located along the Pine Chapel Trail and Lead Mine Trail, starting at the EB Lyons Interpretive Center. The hike is roughly 1 mile, with steep slopes incorporated throughout the hike. Make sure to look into the Pine Chapel for a gnome who has snuck their way inside! Unfamiliar with the trails?
