New Moon Attunement: Yoga, Ritual, Wisdom & Drum Circle

We will begin with a yoga class...restorative and grounding and suitable for all levels. There will be ample time for a deep relaxing meditation. Then we will form a wisdom circle where everyone will have a few minutes to reflect on the theme of cultivating healthy rhythms. What rhythms in your life are you celebrating? Where would you like to be more intentional? After each share, the group will form a drum circle to offer an improvised, rhythmic “sonic smudge” in support of each individual's fullest expression. The recipient can either listen in stillness, or dance! I will provide a variety of hand percussion instruments; feel free to bring your drum. No drumming experience is required; this is a safe space for creative freedom to experiment and play. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Additional Considerations ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nourishing yourself with tea or food before or after this experience is a great way to support yourself and this wonderful community space! After this event, at 8pm there will be a jam-band live music event opening up the second floor of Soft Medicine -- be prepared to get your groove on and Dance!
