Summer is underway at NBS, which means summer camp is here! Check out what’s happening at the Third Beach camp aquarium and explore the seashore with a knowledgeable educator. We will answer questions about familiar animals on the beach, as well as talk about the adaptations of lesser-known creatures who live here. Parking is is available at the NBS Coastal Education Center (across from Peabody’s Beach). FAQ: Free parking will be available in the main lot at the Norman Bird Sanctuary. This event will meet at the Norman Bird Sanctuary Third Beach Education Center. Inclement weather policy: This event will be cancelled in unsafe weather conditions. In the case of cancellation, refunds will be issued through Eventbrite. There is no rain/snow date. Refund policy: Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. All proceeds directly support our mission to protect our 300-acre refuge for the benefit of wildlife and the community to enjoy. All guests are asked to respect the following guidelines: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited. Dogs and other pets are not allowed. Service animals are permitted. Norman Bird Sanctuary events are fundraisers in support of our mission to engage a community of stewards to preserve, protect and enjoy this 300-acre property and the ecosystems within and beyond its stone walls. Through conservation, historic preservation, education and exploration, we foster lifelong connections between people and the Sanctuary’s rich and diverse habitats.
