This course has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health for 7.0 hours (1 CPC, 6 other) of continuing education credit for all BLS/ALS EMS providers. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Must be a current state certified EMS instructor. Current Moravian University EMS instructors can enroll for free with a code, please contact Ellen Payne for more information: [email protected] Objectives: Understand the role of simulation in EMS educationDevelop lesson objectives to link course goals to hands-on simulation activitiesDemonstrate best practices in developing and implementing a simulationThis course is for current EMS Instructors to learn more about the role of simulation in EMS education. The course will address types of simulation, how to create a simulation, how to prepare students to learn through simulation, and skills instructors need for successful simulation. Students will create their own simulation during the course.
