It is here! The culmination of six months of long hours in the garage, 15 generous supporters, 18 rock-star 1st-4th grade singers & their parents, and a handful of musicians and friends, this will be an upbeat, heartfelt celebration of Ian's 2023 album of songs to deepen our relationships with this place, one another, our ancestors, and ourselves. How are our hearts like the changing weather? What if loving the sound of my own voice helped me listen better? Why is Oregon still called the Beaver State after all these years? We will play all 10 songs from the album! Expect rhythmic refrains, toe-tapping banjo grooves, authentic, relatable storytelling, and a tangible sense of belonging to these songs together. I anticipate this event will sell out as it is an intimate venue. While I welcome all ages to attend, the music is best suited for children over the age of 5. All children under 12 must be accompanied by a caregiver at all times. In the spirit of both inclusivity and abundance tickets are available at three different prices. See "Get Tickets" for details. I expect the album will be released digitally on Bandcamp the first week of June.
