You are invited to join us for the upcoming 2023 Historic Preservation Award ceremony. The Historic Preservation Award is a celebration of outstanding efforts in preserving our architectural heritage. It is an opportunity to honor those who have worked tirelessly to protect and restore historic buildings and landmarks, keeping them alive for future generations. The 2023 Historic Preservation Awards acknowledge the exemplary preservation and restoration work accomplished on the historic Agard-Taylor House at 417 Prospect Street and Torrington’s Old Firehouse at 117 Water Street. Both of these historic buildings date from the turn of the century and both were showing signs of disrepair before they were carefully restored and put back into useful service. Both award winning buildings were originally constructed by Hotchkiss Brothers Company of Torrington. Please join us for an evening of celebration, where we will be showcasing the remarkable achievements of our awardees, as well as enjoying delicious beer, and networking opportunities.
