Welcome to the North Fork Valley! Wondering how to get involved and engaged in keeping our community resilient and thriving? Every third Wednesday from May to July, Citizens for a Healthy Community is hosting a Munch and Meet for newcomers to the Valley. This is your opportunity to learn about the risks to our clean air, water and foodsheds, how concerned citizens came together to ensure this special valley remains protected, resilient and thriving for present and future generations. While this is an opportunity for newcomers, it is also an opportunity for long-time residents to come up to speed on important issues and activities regarding oil and gas development in our watershed and local warming impacts. Join us to learn about the challenges and opportunities to keep the North Fork Valley’s air, water and foodsheds from irreparable harm. We will provide a bit of history first and how to pave the new road ahead. New residents encouraged to come to meet Citizens for a Healthy Community representatives and neighbors. Everybody welcome.
