The Seacoast Youth Chorale kicks off three months of Free Open Sing nights for students grades 5-8. These weekly sing-stravaganzas will run from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Niantic Community Church, located at 170 Pennsylvania Ave., Niantic, CT. This is a free series, and no long-term commitment is required, with drop ins welcome. Singers will enjoy fun warmup activities, karaoke, and group-style performance songs. Chorale Director Nancy Rigdon will lead the group in everything from chart-topping hits to classic favorites, global music, and more. And requests are always welcome! Seacoast Youth Chorale is a 501(c)3 non-profit based in Niantic, CT. Founded in 2022, its mission is to provide youth the opportunity to participate in musical experiences which are challenging, rewarding and enjoyable, and which foster the personal, musical and social growth of each child.
