Calling all homeschooling parents! Join us on June 6th in Appomattox for a FREE, unforgettable day of adventure & exploration! Discover what life was really like for civilians during this tumultuous period in American history. 👫💭📜 Attendees can participate in a Trading Game incorporating history and math to learn about inflation and shortages. Also, learn about the importance of water to rural life. Obtaining water was key to sustaining people, livestock and crops. Whether it came from a well on the farm or was hauled from miles away, learn how getting and keeping water was a daily concern. Then, cool off with a Water Gathering relay race! Don't miss this exciting opportunity to engage your kids in history, math, and critical thinking skills. We can't wait to see you there! This program will begin at 10:30am and again at 2:00pm.
