We are pleased to invite you to join us for the Golden Triangle Building Resilient Communities Summit, sponsored by the Climate Imperative Foundation. The Summit is a one-day event that focuses on helping communities prepare for the future by teaching them how to be more prepared in the face of environmental challenges. The Summit will take place on Saturday, May 20th, at the Sarah Street Event Center, and is being organized by the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC). The Summit will convene a network of community members, non-profits, and private/public sector organizations to learn, network and secure federal and local resources. At our event, we will have different activities such as vendor fair, keynote speakers, expert panels, and breakout sessions. These activities will teach attendees how to recognize and lessen environmental risks, make better connections with their communities, and increase their ability to handle change. The summit is open to the public, and we encourage all residents and community leaders throughout the Golden Triangle communities to attend. By engaging in meaningful dialogue, networking, and collaborative efforts, we can work together to create practical solutions that will enhance community resilience in the region.
