Join us for an info session and Q&A for all things bikepacking, plus a Class 4 Designs gear tutorial. Interested in learning how to prepare for multiday trips? Looking for route advice? Have a tall tale to tell about touring adventures? This is your in-person forum! This event is free to attend and is hosted in anticipation of two overnight adventures we'll hold later in the summer: Intermediate Bikepacking Overnighter: July 15th/16th- 35-50 miles total and 3,500'+ of climbing - camping near Waterbury This ride will be capped at 10 riders. Participants will get the route ahead of time, ride at their ow pace, and convene at a predetermined camping location (details to come). This ride will leave from Ranch Camp. Riders will be provided with burritos/beers/etc upon arrival at their camping site. for this ride. Advanced Bikepacking Overnighter: September 9th/10th - 80ish miles and 6,000+ feet of climbing - Camping at Groton State Park This ride will be capped at 8 riders. Participants will get the route ahead of time, ride at their ow pace, and convene at a predetermined camping location (details to come). This ride will leave from Waterbury Park and is self supported (bring your own food, supplies and manage mechanicals).
