Delores Crum Bio: Delores Crum, An Oklahoma native, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oklahoma State University with a double major in Sociology and Psychology. After a 10-year career with the Texas Department of Human Services, Delores, along with her husband, Richard, took their first entrepreneurial journey, building a successful company weatherizing low-income homes and apartments through-out Texas. Since November, 2000, Delores has led Premiere Events, Austin and, since purchasing the company in 2016, its sister company, formerly Party Time Rentals (now Premiere Events BCS (Bryan-College Station). Ms. Crum provides overall leadership, charts the course and set the general direction for the Crum’s rental endeavors. Delores is involved with and supportive of the Central Texas Events Community. She has served as the International Live Events Association (ILEA)-Austin president and has held 5 different roles on the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) Austin Board. Delores is a past President of the Texas Rental Association, and nationally, Mrs. Crum served as a member of the American Rental Association Board from 2020 to 2022, where she represented the Party and Event rental industry segment as Shared Interest Group (SIG) Chair. Delores also served as a Foundation Trustee for the American Rental Association (ARA) and currently serves as a Trustee for the Foundation of NACE. On the for-profit side, Delores Crum is also member of the Prime Bank of Texas Board. Mrs. Crum has received numerous individual awards and recognition for her outstanding contributions to the rental and events industry. In 2015, Delores was the first-ever inductee into the ISES-Austin Hall of Fame. Delores was twice named ‘Rental Person of the Year’ by Texas Rental Association, and Region IV (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma) Rental Person of the Year by American Rental Association. In 2016, Delores earned the highest volunteer honor given by the American Rental Association when she received ARA’s Distinguished Service Award. Delores and the Crum family are active in the broader Austin and College Station communities. Delores is President of the Voices for Children – CASA of the Brazos Valley Board. Delores also serves on the Board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas. Beyond rental, and apart from her industry service and philanthropic activities, Delores has authored and published two books: Simple Success Strategies – Live the Life You Deserve and Magic, Money and Meaning – Crafting a Prosperous and Purposeful Life. Her third book in Build Your Best Life Series will be published in 2023.
