Overview: Do you have a plan if a fire breaks out in your workplace? Even when companies have a plan, understanding the necessary steps to ensure everyone is safe is sometimes misunderstood and miscommunicated. Taken from the first-hand experience from a retired Fire Captain, Michael provides more than a basic training for fire safety education in this session. This class focuses on fire safety in the workplace in a new and different perspective. Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this training, participants will have a working knowledge of: • How a fire burns in a building • Understanding what’s burning and what that means to your workers and workplace • Methods to increase chances to remain safe, escape, or be found • How to be successful in extinguishing a fire and when not to try
