Join us at Action Camera's Reno, NV classroom for this exciting free event on Friday, May 19th from 4pm-7pm Pacific Time. (Sign up limited, free ticket required for entry) In this program by Jerome Hamilton and Canon, you will learn how to create signature images in three sessions covering Glamour Lighting, Black and White Imaging, and Creative Lighting. In the Glamour Lighting session, you will discover how to set up your Canon camera for proper shutter speed using studio strobe lighting, with a wide-open aperture for facial focus and soft backgrounds. You'll learn to position your main light at a 45-degree angle to the face and introduce a secondary light or reflector for fill and a hair light or background light for depth and separation. Posing techniques will also be taught. The Black and White Imaging session will guide you on how to set up your camera for stunning monochrome images, including sharpness, contrast, filter effect, and toning effect. You'll learn how to control the shades of grey and add mood and atmosphere to your images. In the Creative Lighting session, you will explore mixing different types of lighting, including a strobe and a light wand, to create dramatic effects. You'll learn how to capture stunning images by setting your camera to a slow shutter speed and a medium aperture.
