"The Dark Angel" Ryan James) who had passed away on May 3rd as a result of a vehicle accident at age 27!!! James had last competed for P.W.X. in the Monster Bash Battle Royale on October 30, 2021!!!***** (1) "The Kaiju Of The Squared Circle" Am-Po pinned "The Metal Assassin" Slice (with "The Genophage" en masse: "advisor" Tommy Horror, "The Real Deal Of No Chillville" Pav Novak, "The Ram" Anthony Drake, "The Legendary Luchador From Moon Skull Island" Panthro, and Silas McCarthy) in 9:01!!! By the two-minute mark of the bout the "Genophage" entourage was already being evicted from ringside for constant meddling!!! However, ref Hutchie would later be squashed against a turnbuckle after Slice had pulled the official into the path of the charging Am-Po!!! With the arbiter temporarily incapacitated Panthro re-emerged to supply Slice with a chair, but Am-Po would break free from Panthro's rear grasp at the last instant resulting in the masked luchador being crowned bigtime instead!!! Am-Po proceeded to hoist Slice for his dropslam out of the vertical-suplex elevation to cop the victory cover!!! Afterward, Panthro would be treated to some "tough love" due to his faux pas by being tossed back into the ring by "Genophage" for an impromptu bout with whomever would answer Horror's announced "open challenge"!!! (2) TOMMY HORROR'S "OPEN CHALLENGE" MATCH: "The Last Of The Old School" Spiffy Sean Styles pinned "The Legendary Luchador From Moon Skull Island" Panthro in only 2:43 following a "pop-up powerbomb" and a "Death Valley Driver"!!! Afterward Pav Novak would smash his defeated stablemate with a blow from the "Genophage" sandwich board!!! *****"THE LOVERBOY LOUNGE" (hosted by Loverboy Lou with his "Party Crashers" tag-team partner "The Frat Boy" Bradley Wellington): Lou suggested to his first guest Superior G having a "Dance Off" versus second guest "The Unorthodox" Lestat with the judges being the P.W.X. fans so that "G" could not cheat!!! Superior G, Lestat, and even Loverboy Lou would "get down" to the sound of The Beach Boys' "Kokomo"!!! When Lou refused to award him the victory, "G" attacked him to prompt intervention from Assistant C.E.O. Eric Johnson!!! The C.E.O. declared Lestat the dance-off winner due to crowd response and then added Lou to the P.W.X. "3 Rivers" title match next!!!***** (3) TRIPLE-THREAT MATCH FOR THE P.W.X. "3 RIVERS" CHAMPIONSHIP (originally scheduled as one-on-one between Superior G and Lestat): "The One And Only" Loverboy Lou defeated champion Superior G and "The Unorthodox" Lestat (Lou pinned "G") in 12:10 to win the title!!! In a quick succession of events, Lestat clocked "G" with his "shining wizard" blow, Lou immediately took out Lestat via a "D.D.T.", and then Lou leaped from a turnbuckle for a double forearm smash on "G" followed by an elbow-drop to cop the title-winning three-count!!! Afterward Lou celebrated via a couple of victory laps around the P.W.X. squared circle!!! (4) "The Man Known As" Horsepower pinned Silas McCarthy (with "The Genophage") in only 3:28 by reversing upon impact with the mat his foe's attempt at a top-rope flying cross-bodyblock press!!! *****"THE DEREK WAYNE P.W.X. HERITAGE CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING CELEBRATION": Wayne immediately took the fans to task for failing to appreciate his excellence over the past few years as a referee, as a commentator, as a podcaster, and now as a wrestling champion!!! It did not take long for two of the many enemies Wayne had made over that period of time to confront him one after the other, Arawn Conners and R.K. Sawyer!!! Assistant C.E.O. Eric Johnson immediately sensed trouble brewing and ordered the three into a match for Wayne's title!!!***** (5) IMPROMPTU TRIPLE-THREAT MATCH FOR THE P.W.X. HERITAGE CHAMPIONSHIP: Champion "The Most Hated Rookie Of The Year" Derek Wayne vs. "High Voltage" Arawn Conners vs. "The Monster" R.K. Sawyer (with "The Mother Of All Demons" Lilith), NO CONTEST in 8:03 (Wayne retained his title)!!! The bout had to be abruptly stopped by Assistant C.E.O. Eric Johnson when Wayne wound a rope tight around the throat of Sawyer, choked his victim totally unconscious, and would not release until threatened with being stripped of his title!!! *****"The ABSolute" Thomas Mathis requested mic time in his return to P.W.X. after a three-plus years absence!!! Mathis stated that he began his career in P.W.X. six years ago, that it is an "ABSolute" honor to be back, and that his first action here will be an "Open Challenge" for any P.W.X. competitor to face him at the next live event on Saturday, June 3rd!!!***** (6) "The Ageless One" Ethan Cross defeated "The Black Water Reaper" O'Riley Chambers, DISQUALIFICATION in 11:14!!! Chambers dominated a vast majority of the contest via a variety of lengthy "cross-armbreaker" applications to which Cross each time would not yield and would eventually inch slowly toward a rope break!!! Eventually a frustrated Chambers refused to break by ref Hutchie's count of five requiring the intervention of four members of P.W.X. security, one of which getting socked for his efforts!!! As he was about to exit Chambers stated that he will be getting his title back, because this is still his house!!! (7) P.W.X. WORLD'S HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Champion "The Hero Champ" Manic defeated "Vintage" J-Ru, DISQUALIFICATION in 9:31 to retain his title!!! Early into the event Manic deliberately untied a turnbuckle pad to distract ref Hutchie in an effort to use a "tazer" on his challenger!!! However, official Hutchie ended up getting the jolt and, with the addition of later being on two occasions crushed against a turnbuckle, was either totally KO'ed or semi-conscious for most of the remainder of the bout!!! Unfortunately, just as J-Ru had finally gotten his hands on the tazer and was about to put it to use on Manic, ref Hutchie regained enough bearings to notice the weapon for the very first time in the possession of J-Ru who was disqualified!!! (8) "KENTUCKY ROADHOUSE BRAWL" FOR THE P.W.X. TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP (NO DISQUALIFICATION, NO COUNTOUTS, NO RULES, THERE MUST BE A WINNER): "The Genophage" en masse would cash in their "Express Ticket" earned the previous month at P.W.X. "Burgh Brawl" to enter during the match between champions "The Keystone Khaos" (William Renee & Vance Strader) and "The Bruisers" ("The Hellhound" Mitch Malik & "The Bunkhouse Brawler" Robert Katchem) to win the title (a suspect stoppage by special ref Assistant C.E.O. Eric Johnson as Pav Novak applied a "crossface" to William Renee) at the 13:37 mark to win the title!!! Ref Hutchie was in no condition to officiate after being tazed during the previous event necessitating Johnson's emergency services!!! Following the usage of about a dozen chairs and two tables to inflict various injuries and battling all over ringside, the tide of the bout turned after the Bruisers had dumped hundreds of thumb tacks onto the canvas!!! This ended up backfiring on the Kentucky moonshiners when one after the other both of them would end up being slammed into the giant pool of tacks!!! Katchem was one ref slap away from being pinned for a title-retaining cover when the house lights went completely out!!! It was announced right then that "The Genophage" was cashing in their "Express Ticket" for an immediate tag-title opportunity with the entire faction (Novak, Ram, Panthro, Silas, Slice, Horror) all getting involved!!! A short time later ref Johnson called for the bell in favor of "The Genophage", a decision made even more suspect by his proud proclamation of being the faction's newest member!!!
