Garlic Mustard Pull

Description

Volunteers will hand pull the non-native invasive Garlic Mustard from Mill Race Park and the Buck Creek Trail. This plant was introduced, out-competes the native plants and degrades our ecosystems. Instructions, gloves and trash bags will be provided. Experts will be on-hand to answer your questions and assist during the project. Event is outdoors and will proceed rain or shine (but will be re-scheduled if a threat of "severe" weather). Please dress for the weather; we encourage long pants and sleeves. Park along Carlton Park Dr and the adjoining streets. This project is a joint collaboration of the Grandville Environmental Sustainability Committee and the Grandville Community Tree Project and supported by the Grandville Public Works Department.
