Join us as we honor and celebrate the beauty of being with loving community with incredible local business owner, surfer, artist extraordaire Mary Glazier of Gurfer Lady. We are so excited to partner with Gurfer Lady to bring awareness to such a personal cause around mental health. We'll be reading excerpts from Cleo Wade's Heart Talk on the beach, connecting and relfecting, and ending the evening with a paddle out led by Mary. An invitation to paddle out for any lost loved ones you wish to honor. ****Please email us if you need a surfboard the day of or a paddle lesson beforehand :) About the incredible human hosting, Mary Glazier: Mary Glazier founded Gurferlady LLC to offer surf instruction as a mental health hobby, lifestyle and creative outlet. Gurferlady is a female-led surf school and creative community maker. Her passion comes from being a self-taught “Gurfer (girl surfer)” after her surf-loving brother passed away 14 years ago. We now have a variety of Gurf instructors to help guide you to your own surf style. When we’re not in the water, we’re breathing new life into Up-cycled resources through creative projects, workshops & markets.
