She married her High School sweetheart 38 years ago and together they have raised 7 children who are now successful adults, and is grandmother to 13 beautiful grandchildren. Sharon is an entrepreneur. She started a successful retail business in 2009, and grew it to be one of the top 50 franchises in the country before selling it in 2020. In March of 2020, Sharon began her career in Real Estate and has quickly become a successful REALTOR in her short time as an agent. Sharon is a marathoner, having completed 8 marathons, and is a survivor of the Boston bombing terrorist attack. Sharon is passionate about helping the community she lives and works in. She has served on many boards, including Women of Winchester, and was the Chairman of the Board for the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber. Throughout the year, Sharon holds fundraisers and collections for several causes in our community. The one that is closest to her heart is the collection for the homeless children in our community that she organizes on the anniversary of her starting her first business in 2009. Sharon decided on her first year anniversary of being in business that she wanted to celebrate her success by giving to others. Most recently, Sharon published her first book, The Marathon of Running a Business. This book shares how a positive mindset, a strong will, a daily training plan and perseverance are vital to success in business and life. She is a public speaker and recently was a presenter at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Sharon is inspired daily by Zig Ziglar's quote: "You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough people get what they want." Her motto is: If you have God as the center of all of your action, you will reach the goal.
