May 27, 2023 - Band Line Up Starting Early | 5 - 6 PM Starting Early is a rock trio made up of brothers Rory and Declan O'Donnell on guitars, along with Paul Mosimann on percussion. When not working on their own music, they can be seen playing blends of modern and classic rock sets at top venues in the D.C. area. TC Carter | 7 - 8 PM From the time he was four years old, in the hills of Patrick County, VA, rhythm, blues, and a whole lot of soul has been running through lead guitarist, TC Carter's veins. With the help of his mother, Della Carter, he would become a child prodigy in rhythm and blues on the lead guitar. Coming from a long line of musicians before his time, TC Carter was born to play the guitar. Throughout the years, people of all ages have been moved by the musical style of TC Carter. His music not only feeds the soul, but takes you to a mental headspace of good vibes and a hunger for the art of music. Over the course of 20 years, his craft continues to touch lives and astonish people of all different walks of life. Several months back, Carter made the leap of faith to start a blues band. He called on his cousin who is more like a brother Antwan Glenn, long-time best friend Brandon Penn, and even convinced his wife Chelsey Carter to help pull this act together. Since then, the band has been unified in spirit to complete the common goal of spreading the love of music far and wide. With Glenn on the drums, Penn on the bass guitar and wife Chelsey singing vocals, the TC Carter band plans to make its stance in the Blues Music Industry. Stay tuned and prepared for a rekindling of the soul when these individuals come together. Established in 2020, a year we will never forget, and the same stands true for the TC Carter Band. The Barons | 8:30 - 10 PM "Hailing from historic Charlottesville, Virginia in 2016, The Barons confront youthful themes of love and fear into their ethereal, booty shakin' rock n’ roll music. Fresh into their twenties, The Barons are front man Peyton Alley, lead guitarist Josiah Ragland, bassist Kirtland Gray, and drummer Mathes Glymph. With extensive touring through the US and supporting touring alternative artists (i.e. Judah and the Lion, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Barns Courtney, The Aces, etc.), the boys hone in on classic, high energy shows. The Barons will be releasing their first EP, ‘rock! or go to the association’ June 2nd, 2023. The EP dives into their influences from alt-rock heroes with a combination of unapologetically pop vocal hooks, intricate time signatures, and steadfast screaming guitar solos. Throughout the record the band touches on oxymoronic themes of an awfully great world we live in ('Polar'), the temporary dopamine rushes we try understand it with ('The Getaway', 'Invade') and a softer reflection of the authentic relationships we may have missed along the way ('Mary Anne', 'Knowing He Sees'). Overall 'rock! or go to the association' embodies what The Barons ultimately are about which is finding love in the brokenness and expressing who you are rather than conforming to the narrative created by the hand that feeds you.” ”The Barons are Charlottesville, Virginia's most intriguing musical export since the Dave Matthews Band.” - Kent Romska (iHeart Radio) Event Address | 4616 Massanutten Drive, Massanutten, VA 22840
