Ginny Funk with the Alzheimer's Association will offer helpful tips to assist families on how to have honest and caring conversations with difficult topics related to dementia, including going to the doctor, deciding when to stop driving, and making legal and financial plans for the future. These may be difficult due to the fear or lack of awareness that often accompanies having these conversations which can result in delays that have serious consequences for the entire family.
Learn ways to strengthen balance as we welcome Dr. Nameer Kirma, founder of Good Spirit® Tai Chi Ch’uan. He will guide us in some gentle, soft. free-flowing movements that will help to:
• Improve your focus, concentration, mind body connection, and self-awareness
• Increase your flexibility, strength, and internal power
• Develop greater relaxation, calmness, and harmony
• Reduce stress, anxiety, and muscle tension
