Live into the gift of the present moment by learning to see anew the divine beauty of Creation. Photographic artist David Chandler will lead us in the contemplative practices of gazing at his exquisite "wind paintings" and taking nature photographs in a lush, wooded setting. The day will also be grounded in shinrin-yoku or "forest bathing", a meditative and magical walk through the woods led by Rev. Cathy Scott, who studied with the beloved mindfulness master Thich Nhat Hanh. With fellow everyday-mystics, take time off from the to-do list to reconnect with wonder and gratitude for the miracle of life. By emptying out then filling your cup with beauty, creativity, and fellowship, you will go back to your life feeling deeply nourished and refreshed.
