Managers literally manage "things" such as schedules, budgets, equipment etc. Leaders on the other hand, engage people as a team and move them towards the goal of a mission. Yes, these two roles can, will and must meet, but by observation, today's business world simply fails to adequately address leadership. LESSON ONE -- THE FUNDAMENTALS OF LEADERSHIP AND TEAM CULTURE How many of you have actually been taught true leadership? We are talking about true leadership, where people are moved towards a beneficial mission via character, integrity and personal influence and not by policy, pay or pressure. Our instructors, Alan Feuer and Pete Schopen have been forged through the fire of failure of management to excel in leadership within the business world, their communities and their families. This course series will absolutely challenge you to look in the mirror and figure out what leadership really means to you and the people that are counting on you to lead them to a better place. Event Schedule: Saturday and Sunday: 8am-11am In Class training 11-1pm: Break for Lunch (Participants find a local spot to enjoy and network, also complete an assignment provided by the instructors.) 1pm-3pm Participants present on the assignment given to other attendees. Following the weekend, there will be 3 weeks of Zoom Meetings for attendants to continue implementing and practicing on these concepts. The Second Event will be held in Chicago (May 20-21) and the third will be in Dallas (June 17-18). Each of these events will be the same topics, and we must have at least 16 participants in each city to launch.
