At our Mythology Badge Meeting Scouts will learn about Mythology. All Scout levels are welcome to join for this meeting.FireFly and SpiralScout level Scouts will be able to complete some of their Mythology badge requirements at this meeting. HOMEWORKFireFly and SpiralScout level Scouts will be given the opportunity to present for 3 minutes from their research or a prepared project. Please see the Mythology Hub Document for how to prepare this HOMEWORK with your FireFly or SpiralScout level Scout for this meeting.PRESENTATIONRegistered Adult and Scout Parent, Theresa, will prepare 3 myths to present from one culture, choosing either the Egyptian or a Native American which is TBD. During the presentation Scouts will complete these FireFly Requirements/SpiralScouts Prerequisites for the Mythology Badge: Learn about mythology and what it is.Discuss with your Circle or Hearth the difference between Mythology, history, fairy tales and legends.Read or listen to at least 3 myths from one culture (shared by RA Theresa).List or discuss the main characters in the myths.What countries are they from?
