Join us for our 17th Annual Governmental Accounting and Auditing Update on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. This year's event will be hosted in-person at the FedEx Event Center at Shelby Farm Parks with speaker, Melisa Galasso, CPA, CPTD.
Event will consist of a morning and afternoon session. Four hours of CPE will be awarded for each session. Breakfast will be available to all participants and lunch will be served for full day participants.
The morning session, starting at 8:30am, will kick off with a 4-hour GASB Update. We’ll review the standards effective this year like Public Private Partnerships and Subscription Based IT Arrangements but also those coming down the pike like compensated absences. We’ll also go through a few case studies to apply what we’ve learned. After lunch we’ll focus on best practice in procurement including federal procurement rules. We’ll close with a look at recent ethics interpretations issued by the Professional Ethics Executive Committee (PEEC). This fast-paced course will keep you up to date with what you need to know!
