We hear about it all the time. LET'S TALK ABOUT IT... What do healthy relationships look like? During this workshop, we will be led by mental health educator and advocate, Spshelle Rutledge. In this interactive workshop, she will dive Into what Is considered healthy, unhealthy, and how to set boundaries. Yes, boundaries... even in relationships. Spshelle is a Program Supervisor/Mental Health Outreach and Education Coordinator for Jewish Family Service of San Diego | Breaking Down Barriers. Breaking Down Barriers discusses the stigmas surrounding mental health issues and connects participants to helpful resources, with educational presentations and events customized for each unique audience, such as African American and Black, African refugees, Asian American Pacific Islander, Latinx, LGBTQIA+, Middle Eastern and Native American. Topics include mental health, an introduction to anti-racism, stress management for youth, cultural competency/ cultural humility, historical trauma, overview of mental health stigmas, self-care and understanding support systems.
