Event Info: The first annual Mid-Autumn Festival at Walnut is coming to Mt. Sac college this year! The Mid-Autumn Festival is a celebration that can be traced down centuries and is traditionally celebrated in both Chinese and Vietnamese cultures. Similar festivals are found throughout Asia. The festival celebrates the full harvest moon and being together with your family. It’s a time dedicated to showing appreciation for all the bountiful harvests of the fall—and most importantly, sharing it with loved ones. This year, attendees can expect traditional Chinese demonstrations, local food vendors and popups cooking your favorite fair treats, live music, and mooncake samples from local bakeries!
