How does an appraiser come up with a value? What parameters do they use to select comparables? How do they determine what adjustments to make? Mike Orsua is a Certified Residential Appraiser and the owner and operator of RedBand Valuations, LLC. He holds the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute where he is currently the Chairman of the Education Committee. He also holds the MNAA designation from the National Association of Appraisers.
Mike started in the Appraisal Profession as a trainee with Columbia Valuation Group, LLC in Coeur d’Alene in the summer of 2005. He has worked on valuations of commercial properties, eminent domain, agriculture, and single-family residences. He earned the Certified Residential Certification in 2010 in Idaho and Washington.
Since 2009 he has solely focused on appraising residential properties covering North Idaho and Eastern Washington. He has worked on every type of residential housing the area has to offer.
He enjoys everything about the Northwest including hunting, fishing, downhill skiing, and hiking.

Jon Branson is a Certified Residential Appraiser in WA and ID and the owner of Wazzu Appraisals, LLC. He has been working in the appraisal industry in the Eastern Washington and North Idaho markets for over 20 years. Jon spent over 14 years working primarily in commercial appraising and the last 8 years in Residential.
He has raised his three kids in the Kootenai County area and enjoys golfing and watching Cougar Football.
