In a world full of influencers, experts, and ads trying to sell the most curated childhood experiences, how can you cut through the noise to better understand what steps really build the strongest foundation possible for your child? Join us as we take a closer look at the first 5 years of life. At this gathering, we will explore: - Basic principles of early childhood development and strategies for working in alignment with development instead of against it - the superpower skill of observation - the way a Montessorian "works backward" to foster independence when introducing new activities and skills - what the key experiences are in each Yucca Blossom community, and how they directly and indirectly prepare for later childhood *We are so excited to announce that we will be offering childcare for all ages at this event provided by our Middle School Acton eagles, and a dinner/ heavy snack option . Donations for childcare are encouraged, as they are raising money for their recent trip to Central Texas to attend a multi-school Winter Ball.
