Seven Stars Arts Center has been offering ongoing classes in swing dance instruction and social waltz with Gina Sonne. On June 3rd lots of fun dance options abound! DJ'd by Gina, she will be guiding folks through Social Waltz, Lindy Hop, West Coast, Blues and more. Individual instruction available through evening. $10 per person. Gina is offering her time in support of Seven Stars Arts Center, all fees collected will go toward holding ongoing waltz and swing dance classes. Gina Sonne has been teaching social waltz for 12 years in Thetford and Norwich. Her life long love of dance grew with a major in dance from Adelphi University and study at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. The discovery of Social Waltz and Lindy Hop and Blues at the Dance Flurry continue to inspire her to teach these American dance genres to our local community. She believes in the power of dance to bring joy and strengthen community spirit.
