Description

Class curriculum: Each student will learn how metal moves under a hammer. You will have the opportunity to make a few small pieces. You will also make a blacksmith knife with a 2-3 inch blade and squirrel handle. You will also learn about heat treating, grinding the knife blade, and sharpening the knife. Class length: 4-6 hours. Cost: $350 This class accommodates up to 4 students. **This class is for ages 10 and up. **Students under 18 years old, parent or guardian must be present. You will need to wear closed toed shoes and long pants. Protective eye wear and all other tools will be provided.
