The Haitian Flag Celebration, commemorates the creation of the Haitian flag on May 18, 1803, symbolizing Haiti's fight for independence and freedom. The Haitian Flag will be raised at City Hall, Reading 4-5 PM. The celebration continues 5-8 PM at Washington Towers, 50 N 4th St., Reading. This event is part of our commitment to promote cultural diversity and celebrate the rich and unique diversity of American culture. Admission to the Haitian Flag Celebration event is free and open to the public.. We invite everyone to join us in this celebration of Haitian culture and heritage.
