The youth poetry workshop will take place from 1-3 pm at Norwest Gallery on Sunday, May 21 and will be facilitated by Arzelia Williams. The Open Mic will follow from 4-6 pm at Norwest Gallery and feature performances from a diverse group ranging from first-time performers and emerging writers to special guests, including PEACE, Rosemarie Wilson a.k.a. One Single Rose, and Nathan 'Drizz' Johnson who will headline! Sounds will be brought to you by DJ Nouveau and your host for the evening will be Ber-Henda Williams. The open mic event is free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $50. Limited spots to sign up will be available on-site.
