NOW & LATER: A Cannabis Infused Comedy Show Join us for an absurd night of Comedy at the newest spot for live entertainment in Seattle, Capitol Hill Comedy/Bar this May 11th @ 8 PM What came first? The pothead or the punchline? No way to tell! All we know for certain is that Cannabis and Comedy go hand in hand like Peanut Butter and Similes. Stand Up Comedians tell jokes completely sober, go to an undisclosed location, get some THC into their systems, then come back on stage for another round of elevated absurdities. Maybe they’ll attempt to get through some of their polished material? Maybe they’ll answer questions from the crowd? Maybe they’ll get completely derailed and find some brand new jokes on the spot? WHO KNOWS it's going to be the silliest bit of controlled chaos you’ve ever seen This month we have the hilarious GREG BEACHLER, JES ANDERSON and BERNICE LARSON ready to make you have an unforgettable night. Presented by LUKE SEVEREID A little about the comedians… GREG BEACHLER is one of the Northwest’s fastest rising comedians. When he is not featuring at Spokane or Tacoma Comedy Club, Greg is bringing his trademark wit and humorous storytelling across the country. As a 40-year old divorced father of two, Greg blends his family life and his mixed race into topical humor that is extremely relevant in today’s society. Greg is a comedian’s comedian and is certainly one to watch as he continues to break out in the coming years. JES ANDERSON is an up-and-coming comic dedicated to sharing her crazy life with the world. Raised in the heart of Appalachia and currently living in Dupont, Washington, she squeezes stories and curious observations out from the rocks of her experiences. She has two, soon to be teenage children, who she is co-parenting with her one, soon to be ex-husband. By day, Jes manages a Montessori preschool, by night she can be found chasing her dreams one stage at a time. Jes is as twitchy as she is funny. Jes was selected to be included in the 16th Annual NW Women's Comedy Festival and has opened for some of the best comedian's in the Pacific Northwest including Nate Jackson, DJ Demer, Sam Miller and Gabe Rutledge. With a profound disregard for rejection and a unique brand of confidence she loves to sway, perform and entertain groups of all sizes." BERNICE LARSON is a fresh face on the Seattle comedy scene and is taking it by Storm. Her calm style of delivering jokes is disarming to the point you won’t see her punchlines coming till it's too late. She made you laugh and now she’s got your soul. Sorry. Them’s the rules. LUKE SEVEREID is a hill hiking, metal music loving stand-up comedian based out of Burien, Washington(not to brag). With over a decade of practice yelling jokes all across the country he’s opened for some of the best working comedians such as Mark Normand, DL Hugley, Caroline Rhea, Kyle Kinane and MS Pat. Luke’'s comedic style has been described as insightfully idiotic, enthusiastically explosive and most importantly, unmedicated ADD in action. He was recently a semi finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition and was a winner of Best Comedy Film at HUMPFEST He’s loud and silly and hopes he makes you happy.
