We gather to practice mindfulness using a variety of tools including breathwork, somatic experiencing, guided imagery, self-compassion coaching, sound baths, and group discussion. The group is lead by Chelsea Meyer, a local therapist specializing in trauma recovery and self-compassion but makes room for regular featured practitioners from the community, offering attendees a variety of experiences and entry points to awareness and healing. While no one is required to share, Chelsea facilitates group discussion and connection throughout the evening in order to foster community and deeper exploration for those who are comfortable. The gathering is not a therapy group but is therapeutic in nature and seeks to provide a warm and accepting environment for growth and connection. The group has no affiliation with any relgious tradition or belief system. All are welcome.
You may want to bring a cushion or pillow to sit on but there are extras in the space that you are welcome to use. Water bottles and anything else that would make you feel safe, comfortable, and at home is welcome!
Please reach out with any questions. We hope you'll join us.
