Part 1 of a 2 part class. In the first class, participants will receive a grain bag, multispore syringe, and they will be inoculating "fertilizing" their grain bags. This process will take approximately 10 days. Participants will bring their colonized grain bags back on June 16th for the 2nd part of this class, where they will recieve a monotub, made in front of them, and recieve a bag of sterilized substrate.
In order to create a sterile lab setting, participants will be asked to tie their hair back, wash hands, and wear protective shoe coverings during the duration of class.
Shopping list will be provided in class.
