The Sensational Summer Smash Event strikes for its Second Annual Outing! The Malverne Comic Fest is hosted at The Bridge Church, in the heart of the village, with an LIRR station conveniently located across the street from the venue. Pastor Humberto Chavez and The Bridge Church staff continue to service the community in a number of charitable areas and generously open their doors to host this exciting event. The church’s partners are Rocky’s Comics and Alpha Godz. Rocky’s Comics founder is Dio Jackson, a retired Funko employee and hometown legend. Alpha Godz are Malverne based artists, Christian and Antonio Montalvo, brothers who self-publish comics, create custom toys and have Fine Arts curatorial history in the Tri-State Area. Vendors include Local shops, artists and artisans, celebrating comics culture, cosplay, and collectibles, ranging from Marvel, DC and more.
