Please park in the Madison Lot that is in front of the Crescent Place Shops or in the parking spots on Harrison Street in front of Raflo Park. (Ribbon Cutting is at 6:15pm) Doors Open at 6:00pm – (tickets must be purchased to attend the evening event, the Ribbon Cutting is open to all) The Silence No More Movement (SNMM) is a non-profit charitable organization with the mindset that individuals are the solution to decreasing the number of domestic violence victims we each encounter daily. Founder of Silence No More Movement and event producer Lisa Jones is a believer change begins with a combined community effort. SNMM mission is to organically bring the community together throughout the year by providing community endeavors throughout the year such as community sensitivity training, survivor and support system honoree ceremony, community dessert challenge, P7 fashion show fundraiser, and partnership with Walmart to develop the XITPACK. By partnering and creating dialogue between organizations, agencies, community members, our youth, elected officials, and real time victims and survivors the mission is to build a system that ultimately sustains victims for a minimum of two years. Event includes: The Auction, P7 Fashion Show, Molecular Experience for twenty, Design by Afua, Appetizers, smoked cocktails, the donation experience, live music, the braid & knead bread challenge and more.
