Pastoral ministry involves counseling people--a significant responsibility that calls a pastor to evaluate each situation, share principles from Scripture, and offer practical steps for moving forward. Too often, pastors feel unprepared to do so. This lunch will feature a talk from Deepak Reju (co-author of "The Pastor and Counseling") and a panel featuring NOBTS adjunct DeAron Washington and alumnus Carianne Pritchett. They will address the topic of counseling in the church and how it can be used in Asian contexts to encourage, equip, and empower God's people.
