"Pinkies up" and "claws in" for a special dinosaur-themed storytime tea party at Landa Gardens! With the help of professional storyteller, Miss Anastasia, of The Twig Book Shop, and her "Tea Rex" dinosaur friend, children will be entertained - and learn a few teatime manners or two! Landa Gardens Conservancy will provide sweet treats from Lily's Cookies, complimentary juice and water, and paper tea cups to enjoy. Wear your teatime best, bring a favorite doll or dino, and pack snacks and a picnic blanket, if you wish! After storytime, you will be invited to stay for a short awards presentation of the "Landa Children's Art Contest" winners! Overflow parking is available across the street at University Presbyterian Church at 300 Bushnell Avenue. Providing an RSVP to this event is appreciated, but is not required for entry. *** Landa Gardens Conservancy welcomes all to attend “May Month,” a month-long series of free, outdoor community events that showcase the work and mission of the Conservancy to maintain and beautify the grounds surrounding Landa Library.
