The TypeOneNation Summit is a FREE educational and networking opportunity for all impacted by type 1 diabetes (T1D). This year the TON Summit will bring our community together to learn from T1D experts, hear about the latest breakthroughs in T1D research, meet vendor exhibitors, connect with others impacted by T1D, and more. This FREE event is designed for all ages and stages of life with T1D. Whether you are new to T1D, diagnosed 20 years ago, or caring for a loved one with T1D, you won't want to miss this event. We look forward to having you join us! ---------------------------------------- Key Note Speaker: Dr. Ahn Dr. David Ahn is an Endocrinologist and Program Director of the Mary & Dick Allen Diabetes Center in Newport Beach, California, where he is also the recipient of the Dr. Kris V. Iyer Endowed Chair in Diabetes Care. He previously was an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA, and he received his Medical Degree and completed a fellowship in Endocrinology at UC San Diego. Dr. Ahn's passion in Endocrinology and diabetes technology was first kindled after reviewing the first iPhone-compatible glucose meter as an editor for iMedicalApps.com. He is extremely optimistic about the future of digital therapeutics, continuous glucose monitoring, and smart insulin delivery systems. He is the author of the chapter “Diabetes Apps” for the ADA-published book Diabetes Technology: Science and Practice. He also shares videos on diabetes technology on TikTok (@DiabetesDoc) and Instagram (@AhnCall). Breakout Sessions More details coming soon! We have been provided with a few bowling lanes following the event for new and old T1D friends to spend some extra time together. Lanes are limited and can only accommodate 6 bowlers per lane. Be sure to reserve a ticket for anyone who intends to bowl! Shoes are not included but are discounted to $3.
