A power trio belting whimsical lyrical odysseys at 180+ BPM about being Gay & Trans in the modern age. Initially with a rotating line-up of Burlington music scene ‘main-stays’ RANGUS quickly gathered a cult following within the young queer scene in VT. Now with the permanent additions of Russell’s partner Jess McDonald & their ‘token straight cis-boy,’ Jimmy Martucci on drums - the trio has hit the studio, basements, & bars hard. With a refined sound & releases lined up for the spring RANGUS is ready to take their sound & message against hate to other cities & states around the country.
