Theron Denson launched his "Black Diamond" singing career in 2000, becoming teh world's only African-American Neil Diamond tribute entertainer. He began honing his talent in Charleston, West Virginia, quickly building quite the fan following, leading to his discovery by- and appearance on - ABC television's Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Black Diamond has shared billing with - or opened for - numerous entertainment household names including The Pointer Sisters, The Village People, Three Dog Night, The Spinners, Brad Paisley, Boys II Men and The Platters. He has also performed with an acclaimed symphony orchestra. In 2013 Black Diamond: The Real Illusion, his biography was written. Ruth Pointer of the Pointer Sisters gushes, “One of my proudest moments where Theron is concerned is when his Black Diamond Experience opened a Pointer Sisters show in Detroit. He blew the audience away there. Wow - what an entertainer he's blossomed into!" Doors open at 6:30, show starts promptly at 7:30 pm-don't be late. Please note that this event is for ages 18 and up. 21 and older of course allowed to drink. IDs will be checked. General seating! For any large groups please reach out to us prior to the event. Please do not park in the first 2 parking spaces in front of AJ's. We do have a bar with alcoholic Beverages (Beer, Wine, Seltzers, Canned Cocktails, Liquor) and non alcoholic (Coke products and Water) drinks for sell but do not serve food. There are some packaged snacks for purchase. No outside Alcohol is allowed in the venue. Yellow & Co. has partnered with The Chophouse Restaurant in Mahomet! For anyone that buys a ticket for one of our events, Chophouse on Main will be giving 20% off any food purchase the week leading up to the event and the week after the event!
